1. Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected on pauguardiola.net is Pablo López Guardiola (Pau Guardiola). You can write to pauguardiolanet@gmail.com about any matter related to your data.

2. What data I collect and when

• Contact form: name, email, request type, and message.
• AI conversational assistant: the content of the conversation and, only if you choose to share them, your contact details.
• Waiting list for the book "Inteligencia dimensional": your email, your optional answer to "What would you like the book to explain?", the sign-up date, and a record of your consent.
• Technical browsing data, as described in the cookie policy.

I do not ask for or process special categories of data. Please do not include them in your messages.

3. What I use your data for

• Responding to your talk, project, advisory, or press request and managing any professional relationship that arises from it.
• Answering your questions through the AI assistant.
• Waiting list: letting you know when the book is published and emailing you about my work: news about the book and its AI Campus for readers, talks, courses and publications. Answers to the optional question help me write it; if I ever quote one, it will be without data that identifies you.

I do not make automated decisions that affect you, and I do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. Legal basis

Your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given by ticking the corresponding box, which is never pre-ticked. For hiring requests, also the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. How long I keep your data

Contact data, for as long as needed to handle your request and, where applicable, the subsequent professional relationship and applicable legal periods. Waiting list data, until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Every notice I send will include a simple way to unsubscribe.

6. Who processes your data on my behalf

I do not share your data with third parties unless legally required. The website runs on the Base44 platform (Wix.com Ltd.), which hosts the site and its database and handles email delivery, acting as data processor. I keep a copy of the waitlist in my Google Drive account (Google Ireland Limited), which also acts as data processor. The conversational assistant uses AI models from external providers through the same platform.

7. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. In that case, the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability by writing to pauguardiolanet@gmail.com. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

9. Minors

This website is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under that age, please do not provide personal data.

10. Security

I apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: restricted access to my administration account, encrypted connections, and rules that prevent other users from reading the data you submit.

11. TikTok data

The Pau RRSS tool only accesses Pau Guardiola’s TikTok account, with his authorization, to publish his videos. It uses that account’s identifier, display name, and access token, does not collect data from other TikTok users, and does not share data with third parties. The connection can be revoked at any time from TikTok’s settings.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to how the website works. The current version will always be the one published on this page, with its update date.
